Last Monday (June 24), a 72-year-old wheelchair user was doing her shopping in a supermarket on Herzog-Wilhelm-Straße between 4.30 and 5 pm. After leaving the checkout area, the woman was bumped into by two unknown young men. A short time later, the woman from Stolberg noticed that her wallet containing money and various personal identification documents was missing from the storage compartment in the back of her wheelchair.
The unknown men were around 20 years old, 165 to 170 centimetres tall and had dark skin. They were slim, wore shorts, sunglasses and slouch hats.
The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide relevant information on the identity of the suspects.
