Erkelenz - On Friday evening (July 19), a man was sitting on a beer tent set in front of a Greek snack bar on Aachener Straße at around 10.45 pm when a previously unknown male person approached him from behind and placed a laminated note on the table. When the stranger then left with a companion, the man from Erkelenz discovered that his Apple cell phone, which had previously been lying on his sweater, had also disappeared with the two men.

Both suspects were strong and around 165 to 170 centimetres tall. They appeared to be from the south, had long dark hair and were both wearing a dark T-shirt, a white shirt and light-colored trousers. One man also wore a white cap, while his companion wore a white fisherman's hat on his head.
