Traffic accident while turning

(jd) Yesterday (9.7.) at 4.55 p.m., a 42-year-old woman from Herford was driving her VW on Gartenstraße in the direction of Mindener Straße and intended to turn right there. At the same time, two teenagers were driving in the direction of Herford on the footpath/cycle path that runs alongside Mindener Straße. While a 15-year-old boy from Herford managed to avoid the car crossing the cycle path, a 14-year-old girl from Herford crashed into the side of the VW. The teenager was slightly injured in the collision and was taken to hospital by an ambulance. Her legal guardians were informed of the accident.
