(jd) A 51-year-old man from Vlotho was slightly injured in a traffic accident on Salzuflener Straße at 3.10 p.m. on Monday (1 July). A 31-year-old woman from Bünde was driving her Toyota on Bäderstraße and intended to turn left into Salzuflener Straße. At the same time, a 51-year-old man from Vlotho was driving his scooter there. When the woman from Bünder turned onto Salzulfener Straße, the 51-year-old scooter driver, who had the right of way, initiated emergency braking. On the rain-soaked road, he lost control of his scooter and skidded across the road, coming to rest directly in front of the Toyota. The man was treated by an ambulance crew who were called to the scene.
