(jd) At 7.55 a.m. yesterday (03.09.), a traffic accident occurred at the Koblenzer Straße / Großensieker Weg traffic circle. A 42-year-old woman from Löhn was driving her VW on Großensieker Weg towards the traffic circle and intended to enter it. At the same time, a 7-year-old boy from Löhn was riding his bicycle along Großensieker Weg and intended to cross the road at a crosswalk. There was a collision between the two road users. The 7-year-old was slightly injured in the accident and was taken to hospital by ambulance for further medical treatment. Property damage in the lower four-digit range was caused.
