(hd) A traffic accident occurred in Herford on Monday (01.09.2025) in which a child was injured. At 8:30 p.m., a 33-year-old man was driving his VW car along Magdeburger Straße in Herford. Several children were playing in a parking lot driveway at the time. A four-year-old finally rode his scooter out of the parking lot driveway onto the road. There was a collision with the VW. The child was injured and had to be taken to hospital in an ambulance. The vehicles involved were damaged. The damage to property is estimated at around 1500 euros.
