(hd) On Wednesday (20.08.2025) at 14:10, a traffic accident occurred in Herford at the junction of Bielefelder Straße / Westring in which one person was injured. A 20-year-old man from Bielefeld was driving his Opel Corsa on Westring in the direction of Bielefelder Straße. He intended to turn right onto Bielefelder Straße from the road, which was a minor road under traffic law. In doing so, he overlooked a pedelec rider approaching from the right. The two vehicles collided. The 56-year-old cyclist was injured as a result. Minor material damage was caused to both vehicles.
