A resident of a detached house on Johanneskamp became aware of an unknown vehicle at around 2.30 a.m. on Wednesday night (17.7.) when a car door was slammed. When the witness looked out of the window, he noticed that a silver Volvo (older model) was driving slowly in the direction of Falschheider Straße without its headlights on. After a turning maneuver on the neighboring property, the vehicle drove off in the direction of Osterbusch without lights. The vehicle was also observed by another resident. At around 07:30 in the morning, the resident noticed that the side window of his Mercedes Sprinter company vehicle had been smashed. A brown leatherette wallet containing personal papers and some cash was stolen from inside. Further investigations by the criminal investigation department will have to show whether the vehicle observed is connected to the theft. Further information can be obtained by calling 05221-8880.
