(hd) On Wednesday afternoon (10.09.2025) at around 3:50 p.m., police officers encountered a prolific offender at his home address on Werrestraße in Herford. The 37-year-old was wanted on the basis of an arrest warrant for several criminal offenses. During the execution of the warrant, the officers became aware that there were several items in a storage room that had been stolen in the city area in the recent past. These included bicycles in particular, which could be attributed to various criminal proceedings. The suspect was arrested. He is now facing further investigation proceedings for theft and receiving stolen goods.
