Last Friday, fake police officers repeatedly called numerous senior citizens in the district. We are aware of around fifteen cases of such calls, but the number of unreported cases is likely to be significantly higher. No cash, valuables or credit cards were handed over.

The police appeal once again:

• Do not give unknown persons any information about your financial situation or other sensitive data.
• End the phone call immediately.
• Do not open the front door to unknown persons.
• Do not hand over cash, jewelry, valuables or your credit card.
• Neither the police nor bank employees will come to your home.
• In any case, call the police on 110 and report the crime.
