(hd) As yet unknown perpetrators broke into a residential building on Pappelweg in Herford on Tuesday (26.08.2025) between 09:15 and 12:00. The perpetrators gained access to the building by reaching through a tilted first floor window and opening the lock on the adjacent window sash. They then searched the living quarters for valuables. The perpetrators stole two tablets, jewelry and cash. The criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation. Possible witnesses to the crime are asked to call 05221 / 888-0.
