(hd) As yet unknown perpetrators broke into a two-family house on Im Papendiek street in Herford on Monday (25.08.2025) between 6:30 pm and 10:10 pm. The perpetrators gained access to the building by forcibly opening a first floor window that was in a tilted position. They then searched the living quarters for valuables. The perpetrators stole jewelry and cash. The criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation. Possible witnesses to the crime are asked to call 05221 / 888-0.
