(hd) On Wednesday (11.06.2025), a 33-year-old man parked his Ford Focus in a public parking lot on Niedermühlenstraße (Heckewerthplatz) in Enger at around 13:00. When he returned to his car at 10:55 p.m., he noticed considerable damage to it. Apparently another vehicle had hit the parked Ford. The person responsible for the accident then drove away from the scene of the accident without settling the claim. The damage to property is estimated to be at least 6000 euros. The traffic commissioner's office has taken over the investigation. Witnesses to the accident are asked to call 05221 / 888-0.
