Pedelec crashes into Opel

(jd) A 32-year-old pedelec rider was injured in a traffic accident on the Westring on Tuesday (18.2.): The man from Herford was riding on the right-hand sidewalk/cycle path on Westring in the direction of Im Kleinen Felde. He intended to cross the road shortly before the junction with Leineweberstraße. At the same time, however, a 49-year-old woman from Herford was driving her Opel on the Westring, also in the direction of Im Kleinen Felde. When the cyclist suddenly drove onto the road, the two road users collided. The 32-year-old was slightly injured by the force of the collision.
