Opel overturns

(jd) A traffic accident occurred on Detmolder Straße in the early hours of Sunday morning (20.07.). A 68-year-old woman from Vlotho was driving her Opel in the direction of Exter when she lost control of her vehicle and veered off the road to the right. She initially crashed her vehicle into a fir tree, which was torn out of the ground by the heavy impact. The Opel then overturned before coming to a halt on its roof in a hedge. Residents looked after the 68-year-old, who was slightly injured in the accident and had to be taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment, until the emergency services arrived. The damage to property amounted to around 15,000 euros. Detmolder Straße remained closed for the duration of the accident investigation.
