Motorcycle theft

(jd) A resident of Löhner Straße noticed at around midnight on Saturday night (28.06.) that the motion detector in front of her garage had switched itself on. The woman then looked outside and noticed suspicious movements at the entrance to the garage. A short time later, the resident and her husband noticed that a beige Harley Davidson, which had been parked in front of the garage, was no longer on the property. The motorcycle had been secured with a steering wheel lock. The police officers who arrived initiated a search of the area, but the search was unsuccessful. Witnesses who can provide information about the incident or the whereabouts of the Harley Davidson with Herford registration are asked to call 05221/8880.
