On Saturday afternoon (20.7.), the employee of a supermarket on the upper Talstraße reported that several packs of cigarettes worth around 150 euros had been stolen at around 2.25 pm. The employee was asked by a male person in the store area for empty cartons for an "alleged flea market". Distracted by fetching the boxes, several boxes of cigarettes were stolen from the cashier's office. The analysis of video recordings revealed that while the man was distracted, another male person entered the property through a window at the rear of the building and took the cigarettes. Further investigations will have to show whether other people were involved in the theft. The two suspects are described as:

1. Distracting person

- Southern appearance - White T-shirt - Long dark jeans - Baseball cap

2. Person in the office

- Southern appearance - White shirt - Dark baseball cap - Beard

An immediate search for the persons has so far been unsuccessful. Witnesses who can provide further information about the theft are asked to call 05221-8880.
