(hd) On Friday (29.08.2025), previously unknown perpetrators took advantage of the absence of a female resident to break into a residential building on Auf der Helle street in Herford-Elverdissen. Between 3:40 p.m. and 6:20 p.m., the strangers pried open the patio door of the house. They then searched the rooms for valuables. The stolen goods cannot yet be definitively identified. The damage to property is estimated at 1000 euros. Possible witnesses who can provide information on the circumstances are asked to contact the Herford police on 05221 / 888-0.
