Collision at an intersection

(jd) A 29-year-old man from Porta Westfalica was driving his Fiat on the Im Langengraß road towards Löhne at 2.15 p.m. on Tuesday (4.2.). At the junction with Alter Salzweg, he intended to continue straight ahead. At the same time, a 71-year-old man from Löhne was riding his bicycle on Alter Salzweg in the direction of Bad Oeynhausen. When the Fiat entered the junction, the two road users collided. After receiving initial medical treatment at the scene, the 71-year-old, who was injured in the collision, was taken to a nearby hospital. The material damage to the car and bicycle is in the four-figure range.
