A traffic accident occurred on Holzgraben street in Karken on November 18 (Monday) at around 4 p.m. in which an 8-year-old boy was injured.
He was on his way home from school on foot. As he stepped through the exit of the school grounds on Holzgraben street, he was hit by a cyclist who was riding for him on the sidewalk coming from the left from the direction of the church in the direction of Roermonder Straße. The child fell to the ground and suffered bleeding injuries. The man on the bicycle stopped and asked him if everything was all right. He then rode off in the direction of Roermonder Straße. A woman noticed the injured child and accompanied him home. Accompanied by a parent, the boy was treated as an outpatient in hospital.
