(hd) A 24-year-old man from Herford parked his Seat Leon car on the side of the road on Langenbergstraße in Herford at lunchtime on Wednesday (02/07/2025). When he returned to his vehicle the following day (03.07.2025) at 06:15, he noticed damage to the front bumper. Apparently another car had hit the parked Seat. The person responsible for the accident drove away from the scene of the accident without settling the claim. The damage to property is estimated to be at least 2000 euros. The Herford police traffic commissioner's office has taken over the investigation and is asking any witnesses who can provide information about the course of the accident to contact them on 05221 / 888-0.
