(hd) A traffic accident occurred at 01:15 on Monday night (20/01/2025) on Spenger Straße in Enger. A 38-year-old man was driving his Seat Ibiza on the road in the direction of Enger. He veered off the road to the left and collided with a fence and a street lamp. The latter was deformed and severely damaged. The damage to the Seat Ibiza was so extensive that it was no longer roadworthy. The total damage is estimated to be at least 11,000 euros. The police officers deployed to investigate the accident determined that the driver was clearly under the influence of alcohol. A blood sample was taken. The driver's license of the person responsible for the accident was confiscated. The driver now faces criminal proceedings.
