A burglary can significantly change the daily routine of the person affected.

That's why the Euskirchen police are starting the dark season just in time for the time change next weekend under the motto "Riegel vor! Safe is safer" with tips on burglary protection in the dark season.

Interested citizens can obtain free information about burglary protection from the crime prevention officers of the Euskirchen police at an information stand on the market square in Bad Münstereifel on Friday (October 27) from 9 am to 12 pm.

On site, citizens will receive information from Detective Chief Inspector Eva Winkel, among others, on how to make their own homes safer and reduce the risk of burglary through their own behavior.

In addition, information flyers with corresponding QR codes will be distributed, which lead to the website of the Euskirchen crime prevention technical advice service.

On November 2 and 6, group consultations will also be offered at the Euskirchen police station and Euskirchen town hall. The appointment on November 2 will take place in cooperation with the Euskirchen consumer advice center, offering energy advice from an external speaker.
