(jd) At around 8.07 a.m. yesterday (3.7.), residents of an apartment building in Magdeburger Straße noticed that previously unknown suspects had broken into several cellar compartments. The unknown person or persons used a tool to force their way into the various cellar rooms. The Herford criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation and has narrowed down the period of the crime to between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. How the suspects got into the building and whether they managed to steal any stolen goods is still under investigation. Witnesses are asked to call 05221/8880 for information.
