(jd) At 6.15 a.m. on Monday morning (16.9.), an employee discovered a break-in at a kindergarten and the offices of a church congregation on Wietbrede Street. Over the course of the weekend, previously unknown suspects first forced a door to gain access to the church premises. Here they rummaged through several cupboards and drawers. An inventory of the stolen goods is still under investigation. The thieves then entered the kindergarten via the offices, where they also forced open and ransacked all the cupboards in the office. After an initial search, they stole a camera worth around 500 euros and a cash box. The criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation and is asking witnesses who observed anything suspicious in the Wietbrede area between 6 p.m. on Friday and 6.15 a.m. on Monday to call 05221/8880.
