Burglary

(jd) A Vlotho resident noticed a burglary in a detached house in Beukenweg yesterday (July 3) at 4.30 pm. He first saw that a previously locked kitchen door was open. There is normally a flat screen TV in the kitchen, which the unknown perpetrator or perpetrators stole from the kitchen. The man then discovered that a side door of the house had obviously been forced open using a tool. A list of possible other stolen goods is still under investigation. The property damage is at least in the three-digit range. The criminal investigation department is asking witnesses who observed anything unusual in the Beukenweg area between 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon to contact them on 05221/8880.
