Attempted theft

(jd) A resident of Genossenschaftsstraße heard loud noises on Tuesday (11.2.) at 10.15 p.m. and then looked outside to find the cause. He then noticed several people apparently forcibly approaching a VW. The attentive witness then drew attention to himself, whereupon the unknown persons in dark clothing fled on foot. Several tools and building materials were stored in the VW, but the unknown persons did not get to them. The police are asking other witnesses who can provide information about the incident or the unknown persons to contact them on 05221/8880.
