The traffic commissioner's office is investigating a case of damage to property that took place at the Kilverstraße/In der Lage junction in Rödinghausen. On Monday morning (22 July) at around 11.30 a.m., the 72-year-old driver of a black Alfa Romeo was driving along Lage in the direction of Kilverstraße. He intended to turn left onto Kilverstraße.

At this time, a female driver approached the senior citizen and was also standing in the intersection area, without the senior citizen being able to tell in which direction the woman would continue driving. Unsettled by the situation and clarification, he drove straight out to make personal contact with the driver. When the Alfa driver briefly rolled down the window, a male person suddenly jumped out of the waiting car from the passenger side and hit the hood of the Alfa with his fists. He then kicked the driver's door and damaged it.

The unknown man was prevented from causing further damage to property by people from other vehicles. Impressed and frightened by the situation, the 72-year-old drove on and then informed the police.

The female driver is described as being around 35 years old and having long black hair. She was wearing sunglasses at the time of the incident. The man who caused the damage was around 40 years old, had dark hair and a gray beard. He was wearing black-framed glasses.
