When he and his bank investigated the cause, they discovered that a previously unknown person had withdrawn a four-figure sum from the man's account at various ATMs between May 15, 2023 and June 20, 2023. According to initial investigations, unknown perpetrators succeeded in making a duplicate of the victim's EC card during an unknown period and thus making the withdrawals.
