The tasks of the district service include the

Maintaining a visible police presence, in particular at at-risk locations, properties and facilities
Maintaining contact with people at risk and those responsible for at-risk properties and facilities
Conducting security meetings
Performing police duties at events
Involvement in road safety work
Involvement/support in road safety education
Traffic accident prevention and control
Conducting whereabouts and driver investigations
Addressing potential offenders in connection with sporting events
Monitoring of return bans in accordance with Section 34 a of the Police Act
Combating crime
Personal and property protection measures
Supervision of visitor groups based in the area of responsibility
Involvement in public order partnerships
