Vita of Police Commissioner Alexandra Dorndorf
Alexandra Dorndorf was born in Münsterland in 1973, is married and has two children. After working in the Rhineland, she has lived in Münster with her family since 2005. After completing her second state examination in law in 2000, she began her professional career at the Cologne district government as a head of department for personnel and organizational matters, among other things. In 2006, she moved to the district government of Münster. There, she was responsible for municipal and financial supervision and, most recently, for school supervision. In 2016, she took over the management of the administrative department at Dortmund Police Headquarters, and from 2018 she also took on the role of permanent deputy to the police chief. In 2021, she was elected District Director in the Steinfurt district. Since May 2022, she has headed the Münster Police Headquarters.
