What is the International Police Cooperation Center (IPCC) 2024 and what role does it play in UEFA EURO 2024? The new animated explanatory film about the IPCC 2024 answers these and many other questions.
The explanatory film starts from scratch in order to pick up every viewer - even those who have not yet had any contact with the national and international information hub.
In addition to a German version, there is also an English version of the video in order to serve the different target groups. The video is used for internal communication, but also for the internet, social media (Facebook, Instagram, X) and at events.
The IPCC 2024 explanatory video
From the idea to the script to the implementation, the explanatory video was produced entirely in-house in the Press and Public Relations / Staff Care department of the IPCC 2024 in cooperation with the media services and digital education of the State Office for Training, Further Education and Personnel Affairs (LAFP) of the NRW Police.
"The colleagues there at LAFP NRW have a great deal of professional expertise in the field of media design. This can also be seen in this video, which is well worth watching," says Oliver Strudthoff, Head of IPCC2024.
Hundreds of security forces from all over Europe at IPCC 2024
Several hundred security forces from all over Europe will be guests and work together at the national and international information hub, a joint institution of the federal states and the federal government under the direction of the state of NRW, at the Neuss training center of the NRW police for the duration of UEFA EURO 2024. For weeks, everything will revolve around the European Men's Football Championship and the security of the people in the state in 24/7 shift operation.
The IPCC 2024 does not manage any operations and is not a police authority. By collecting, evaluating and managing all relevant information and in the form of a comprehensive situation report, the IPCC 2024 ensures the best possible cooperation between the deployed national and international police forces and other federal security partners for the tournament.
