In principle, an open-air assembly must be notified to the assembly authority at least 48 hours before the invitation to the assembly. Irrespective of this, we recommend that you give notice of the assembly as early as possible. In this way, details or uncertainties about the course of the assembly can be clarified in good time beforehand. In order to prevent threats to public safety, the police can restrict the location and course of the assembly or, under certain circumstances, dissolve or ban it.
