The mobile police station has been in the hands of Chief Superintendent Ralf Struß since 2012. He has driven many kilometers through the district in the converted mobile home. In these eleven years, he has had a large number of contacts with citizens and has actually become something of a regular customer. That was citizen service par excellence.
Now the retired police chief superintendent has handed over the key to Richard Rauer. In recent weeks, he has been able to look over Ralf Struß's shoulder and accompanied him on his last journeys. Chief Superintendent Richard Rauer has been a road safety advisor in recent years and also traveled throughout the district. During this time, he has made many children fit for road traffic and advised and informed both young and old people.

The mobile police station is a mobile home converted for police purposes, which Chief Superintendent Richard Rauer now uses together with the local district service to carry out regular citizen consultation hours in places where there is neither a police station nor a district service office.
