Police Superintendent Veronika Burdich joined the district police team in Wegberg on September 1. Together with Volker Jansen and Dominik Geiser, she will be the police contact for the people of Wegberg and is already looking forward to her new role.
She previously worked for the Erkelenz security service. The 52-year-old lives in the district of Heinsberg, is married and the mother of a grown-up daughter.
