The International Police Cooperation Center (IPCC) 2024 for UEFA EURO 2024 will be set up at the NRW Police Training Center in Neuss. This is normally the location of the State Office for Police Training, Further Training and Personnel Affairs (LAFP). Several thousand employees of the NRW police attend over 400 training courses here every year and are prepared and specialized in the areas of crime control and road safety.

Before moving in in 2018, the lecture halls were brought up to date and the training rooms were equipped with state-of-the-art and professional IT. The accommodation in the dormitories was also renovated. Police officers from all over Europe will be using this facility during the European Football Championships.

Modern property on a historic site

The site on which the IPCC 2024 will be set up has a long history. Roman garrisons settled here around 2000 years ago. There were six mobile camps, a permanent legionary camp and an equestrian fort. The "Castrum Novaesium" is one of the most important and best-researched Roman military camps in the Rhineland.

The best possible security equipment

Several hundred police officers are on duty at this historic site in the IPCC 2024. To ensure they have the best possible working conditions, preparations began long before the start of the tournament. They work in the UEFA EURO 2024 information hub, collecting, analyzing and controlling information. The NRW police are providing modern workstations for this purpose.
