The interactive films from the Police Crime Prevention of the Federal States and the Federal Government (ProPK) are designed to educate young people and their adult environment about the topics of anti-Semitism, right-wing extremism, hate online and radicalization.

The aim is to give young people the tools they need to competently counter online hatred, conspiracy myths and radicalization. The special feature of the concept: The short films encourage the target group to actively intervene in the course of the film and consciously engage with the content.

Hate speech

Hate online is widespread. But nobody has to put up with hate speech. The interactive video "Hate on the net" encourages the target group to intervene, document evidence of hate messages and report them consistently.

Radicalization

Extremist slogans provide simple solutions to the problems of our world and they incite hatred towards people. The interactive video "Radicalization" provides arguments to debunk the slogans. Anyone who questions, contradicts, sets clear boundaries and reports evidence of propaganda prevents the spread of extremist opinions.

Antisemitism in conspiracy myths

The video "Antisemitism in conspiracy myths" shows the course of a creeping radicalization process. Anti-Semitic prejudices are behind many conspiracy myths. They are based on centuries-old myths and accuse people of Jewish faith of wanting to rule the world. Such narratives can lead people to commit extreme acts of violence. The assassins in Munich, Kassel, Halle and Hanau also invoked them in their racist and anti-Semitic terrorist attacks. This is one of the reasons why raising public awareness of radicalization is a key focus of police crime prevention.

For the interactive film "Chris + Lea" on the prevention of anti-Semitism and conspiracy narratives, ProPK 2022 has already received two awards, the SILVER Award of the WorldMediaFestival and the Prix Victoria in Gold of the International Business Film Festival.
