That's never happened before! Violin, double bass and other string instruments at a concert by the NRW State Police Orchestra. This very special musical journey through the world of film music took place for the first time together with the Instrumentalverein Wuppertal on August 16. The new format gave the audience goosebumps!

The result at the big charity concert at Wuppertal Police Headquarters delighted the audience. "We are delighted with this new format for our orchestra with string players," says Victor Ocansey, head of the LPO NRW and head of press and (state-central) public relations at the LAFP NRW.

"This new format is another building block in a series of measures to make the portfolio of the NRW State Police Orchestra more attractive and modern. That was simply great," Ocansey continued.

We would like to thank all guests and those responsible from Sparkasse, the police and music for their charitable support in helping people in need! The charity concert raised more than 8,000 euros for a good cause.
