The Minden-Lübbecke police provide information about burglaries in the district

Burglary concerns us all

A burglary is a shock for those affected! Many victims find the intrusion into their own "four walls" particularly stressful

The Minden-Lübbecke police want residents in the Mühlenkreis to feel safe at home. That is why they provide advice on burglary protection in a variety of ways.

The police also specifically rely on the help of citizens. Be alert in the neighborhood and report suspicious perceptions. It is also helpful for you to know where burglars are particularly active at the moment.

Burglary maps

For this reason, every Friday we compile overview maps with all attempted and completed burglaries in the past week in the Minden city area, Bad Oeynhausen and Porta Westfalica.

We also publish a monthly overview for the towns of Lübbecke, Preußisch Oldendorf, Petershagen, Rahden and Espelkamp as well as for the municipalities of Hüllhorst, Hille and Stemwede.

We have deliberately refrained from naming the localities by street. Instead, the overview refers to the city districts. Missing maps mean that no corresponding crimes were registered in these towns or municipalities for the respective period.

With the burglary maps, we would like to make you even more aware of the issue of burglary protection and ask you to inform us - also retrospectively - of any suspicious perceptions.

Every call counts, because: We can't do it without your tips!

Report anything suspicious

  • It is always best to call the emergency number 110 - it is manned around the clock,

Alternatively, you can

  • contact your colleagues from the patrol service on site,
  • inform your local district officer,
  • write us an e-mail (see top right).

Together, police and citizens can put a stop to burglars!

You can also find a wide range of prevention tips on our page "Stop burglars! Safe is safer."
