Thanks to the meticulous and sensitive work of the Duisburg police and the Duisburg public prosecutor's office, it can now be established with sufficient certainty that the incident last Monday evening (June 10, 7:30 p.m.) on a forest path in Schermbeck was not an attempted homicide.

The renewed in-depth questioning of the person concerned revealed that - apart from the person concerned herself - no other person was involved in the incident. At no time was there any danger to the public from an unknown suspect. The investigation will therefore be brought to a conclusion in the near future.
